Changes have a skin testing procedure to ensure that the highest professional safety standards are adhered to in our salons.

The skin test for colour sensitivity must be conducted no less than 48 hours prior to commencing any colour service for all new colour clients. The skin test can be done at any of our branches and no appointment is necessary. Colour is applied discreetly behind the ear, this is then left uncovered for 48 hours. You will be given an information card to retain and a copy is held on our records. If you experience, any kind of reaction, discomfort or sensitivity please contact any of our salons for further advice.

If you are a regular Changes colour client this test is repeated on an annual basis.

Although a serious reaction is extremely rare skin testing is a precautionary measure to help assess your suitability for our colour services. Changes use a range of different colour products from semi-permanent through to permanent colours.
