John is the driving force behind Changes with overall responsibility for all aspects of the business, but on a day to day basis for the hairdressing. John works in Olney, Stony Stratford and Willen where he is available for a limited number of appointments.

Educated at Kingsbrook School, Deanshanger, John enjoyed and excelled at sports and art, if not much else! After leaving school, he got into hairdressing as he wanted to do something different.

He trained as a hairdresser both locally and with Alan International, Vidal Sassoon and Jingles in London, a city that – along with his love of art – has been a powerful influence on him. John celebrated 25 years in business in 2006, and realises that nothing comes easy and nothing should be taken for granted.

He likes to live the “good life” - healthy eating, cooking and gardening – and also enjoys both winter and summer sports, completing the NSPCC half Marathon in 2005 and 2009. John met his wife Melanie cycling in France and they continue to enjoy cycling holidays.
